Welcome to Twynham House

We are a family-run organisation that has collectively spent the last 40 years working in education. After working as a special needs teacher, Renu Kapila opened her first nursery in 1991. Together with her husband, Paul, the setting grew into the largest single-site nursery in the UK. Their passion for childcare and innovation in education saw them achieve Ofsted Outstanding and the NMT’s first award for Best Design.

In 2015, their children Nikhil and Esha both qualified as primary teachers. Having grown up within the nursery world, both hold a common passion for education, creation and inspiring the next generation. Working across the state, private and special needs sectors has given them a unique understanding of the educational needs of all children.

Our ethos has always been to provide childcare that will exceed every parent’s expectations. This is not only with the physical environment but also our desire to nurture the individual.

We recognise that we play a valuable part in the most formative years of a child’s journey, and are incredibly proud of the environment that we have created at Twynham House. We believe that it offers our children the high-quality early education and care that they so deserve. Most importantly, it is a home away from home - a place that our children and families can call their own.

Our nursery has been born out of our educational history and united goal to give our children the best possible start in life.
